Building a Better Burlington
When I visited Burlington for the first time as a trans person, I felt safe in a way I never had before. Burlingtonians embraced me and encouraged me to pursue my passion for civic engagement. Before too long, I fell in love in Burlington. My husband and I have made our home in the New North End, and since then, this community has been there for me and I have shown up for my community.
With so many pressing issues facing our city, Ward 7 needs a councilor doing the work of connecting citizens with their government. We need councilors who ensure that the city is working for all Burlingtonians, and that we are going forward together. That's why I decided to run and that's why I'm honored to earn your vote.
